THANK YOU FROM EVERYONE AT THE WILLOW TRUST

The Willow Trust has reached the end of its twenty fourth season of providing relaxing and inspiring days on the waters of the Gloucester-Sharpness Canal for disabled and seriously ill children and adults with their carers. 2015 will see the 25th Anniversary of The Willow Trust so keep in touch to see what’s happening in this exciting year.

Willow Trust Winter Work

Although some think all is quiet during the winter for The Willow Trust – this couldn’t be further from the truth! Fortunately our skippers have many years of boat maintenance experience and they have already begun the hard winter work ready to have the boats shipshape for all our guests in April 2015.

Willow Trust Volunteers

We couldn’t manage without our 90+ team of volunteers and once again they have surpassed themselves this year. A big thank you to them all.

Willow Trust Fundraising

Fundraising work will also continue apace throughout the winter to ensure our trips remain - as they have since 1990 - free of charge. If you would like to hold a fundraising event for The Willow Trust – please let us know if we can support you in any way.

Over the winter you will still be able to see our two fully wheelchair accessible boats which are moored in the beautiful surroundings of Saul Junction near Frampton-on-Severn in Gloucestershire.

Established in 1989 the Willow Trust charity operates both its fully equipped purpose-built boats from April to October in pursuit of providing pleasure and happiness in otherwise difficult lives. We are and remain self funding to ensure that the original precepts of the trust are adhered to and improved upon every year.

Become a Friend of The Willow Trust for 2015

As well as our wonderful volunteers we rely on our Friends of the Willow Trust to make such happy days possible. Why not take a few moments to download this form and Become a Friend of The Willow Trust before the start of our next season in April 2015 – at only £15 a year – it costs less than 30p a week to give someone special a therapeutic trip on the water.
