The Willow Trust is busily preparing for its twenty fourth season of providing relaxing and inspiring days on the waters of the Sharpness Canal for disabled and seriously ill children and adults with their carers. Our two fully-qualified skippers are getting the boats shipshape for our guests, volunteers are volunteering! training days are being planned and fundraising events and ideas are taking shape. It’s 2014 – Welcome Aboard!

‘A Wonderful Day of Freedom’

Our two fully wheelchair accessible boats are moored in the beautiful surroundings of Saul Junction near Frampton-on-Severn in Gloucestershire. Established in 1989 the Willow Trust charity operates both its fully equipped purpose-built boats from April to October in pursuit of providing pleasure and happiness in otherwise difficult lives. We are and remain self funding to ensure that the original precepts of the trust are adhered to and improved upon every year.

We rely on our wonderful volunteers…

Our many friends, our many visitors and of course, all the volunteers who make such happy days possible want to say hello – and welcome to the Willow Trust.

We rely on our Friends of The Willow Trust…

If you haven’t made our acquaintance yet we look forward to doing so.

And we rely on YOU…

If you would like to get involved; you could volunteer, or become a Friend, you might organise an event, or click Easy Fundraising and spend - dress up, or dress down, have a ball and put on a gown.
